Leads three critical teams:Shortage Control Business Intelligence:• Creates compelling analyses, dashboards, and tools to identify and address key metrics, trends, and root causes• Designs and refines a store complexity model for new and existing stores to determine crime and loss risk• Governs shortage control assessment program designed to measure store operational excellence and compliance• Plans and manages $55M annual OpEx budget and $11M CapEx budget for Shortage Control and SafetyShortage Control Operations:• Develops and executes a cohesive merchandise protection strategy to drive improvement in shortage results• Mitigates shortage risk by ensuring EAS (electronic article surveillance) tags are budgeted, forecasted, and fulfilled• Generates innovative ideas to protect merchandise by staying ahead of industry trends via research and intelligence• Orchestrates the planning, organization, and execution of physical inventory across all stores twice per yearSafety and Business Continuity:• Devises, implements, and maintains company-wide environmental, health, and safety policies and programs• Reduces the frequency and severity of associate and customer injuries by advocating the company’s safety program• Establishes and implements controls to minimize risk exposure though targeted and strategic safety initiatives• Assesses operational criticality, identifies strategies to protect operations, and builds continuity plans Show less
