Every day I set out to solve tough, highly technical problems. I have a background in both R&D and Regulatory and that combination has served me well to create bridges between both functions. I am energetic, organized, and proactive, and I throw enthusiasm into every problem I tackle and every strategy I devise. I am known within my organization as someone who "gets things done" and as a "trusted voice for expertise" on Antimicrobials, on-site generated chemistry, Microbiology and Innovation both in Europe and the USA. I was also awarded the 2022 annual Ecolab global regulatory award as an individual for my cross-functional Microbiology leadership and strong project management and execution skills. This award was for the work I did to fortify our European Biocide Powerhouse with $650M annual sales. My professional experiences over the last 24 years have taught me the value of creating long-standing collaborative connections rooted in the basis of good communication and a touch of humor. Having grown up in the USA and lived/worked in the Netherlands for 16 years, I also understand the nuances of communication needed to navigate in an international, matrix organization. My abilities to connect, create, and foster collaborative relationships have significantly enhanced the value I offer my company. I am passionate about making science more accessible and translating deep, technical aspects to the non-scientist to enable Ecolab to reach new heights. I believe that my teams’ success is my success and enabling my colleagues to shine, benefits us all as we push to make innovative, breakthrough technologies solving our customers' hygiene challenges.
