Managed Ohio communications operation for Mike Bloomberg 2020’s presidential campaign, including weekly press conferences, pitching policy initiatives, managing endorsements and surrogates, placing op-eds, and ensuring collaboration between the communications, political, and digital teams.

Created and implemented the office’s first ever communications and digital programs which garnered nearly 400 media hits during Klein’s first year in office. Managed relationships with city departments, outside agencies and partners, state legislators, and advising the principal on politics and policy.

Led the public affairs division for JVA Campaigns, a national, award-winning public affairs and political consulting firm. Provided strategic consulting for clients with media and public relations, direct mail, digital advertising, marketing services, lobbying support, direct advocacy, and more.

Acted as spokesperson and directed the communications strategy with local, statewide, national and international press, integrating strategic messaging across earned and social media, email, and field programs. Managed team of communications and research staff while advising on six statewide races, 15 targeted Statehouse races, and local elections across Ohio.

Served as spokesperson and media consultant for Columbus 2016, a committee of community and business leaders and elected officials who sought to host the 2016 Democratic National Committee convention in Columbus.

Advised non-profits, businesses, statewide candidates and elected officials on messaging, earned media, digital, and advertising strategies. Managed clients, generated new business, developed digital and marketing strategies for the company. Served as Communications Director for Ohio’s 2014 Democratic gubernatorial candidate.
