During my time at Accenture, I have worked for a high-visibility Financial Services client to implement a major conversion and was specifically responsible for the daily reporting of risks & issues to executive-level client management. While on this project, I volunteered by time with a Non Profit client on a Social Media Strategy project. I now serve as the Project Lead, implementing a wide variety of initiatives spanning User Experience, Cross-Platform Marketing, Social Media, and overall Program Growth.In addition, I co-founded a resource committee and currently serve as the committee's co-lead. Our committee fields volunteer requests from our internal international development practice and staffs these requests with appropriate analysts/consultants in our committee. Additionally, we host continued learning opportunities and peer review sessions. Most recently, I've led a group of 6 analysts through a course entitled Human Centered Design for Social Innovation, which was originally created by IDEO for +Acumen and was completed by myself in early 2013. We are currently working with key stakeholders to scale our committee globally. We will soon have teams in Mumbai, London, and San Francisco.

Sofar Sounds is an organization that brings together over 34 cities worldwide who each host 1-2 local music shows per month. Each 'gig' consists of roughly 4 musicians/artists who perform largely acoustic sets in living rooms, empty studios, and galleries that change each month. The artists & location are kept secret until the night before in order to maintain an audience that loves music generally, not just a popular band.After discovering Sofar Sounds in NYC in the fall of 2012, I pitched the idea of an Atlanta chapter to Sofar Sounds founder & CEO. He enthusiastically accepted & with the help of my network, we hosted our first show in February of 2013. I organized the photographers, videographers, space, musicians, and rsvp for the first few shows before identifying 2 capable leaders who could grow the Atlanta chapter locally.During this time, I also served as a strategy/operations consultant to the founders and advised on a number of topics, focused mostly on how to structure their organization to support their rapid organic growth. I developed materials used to train a number of new city leaders and frequently interfaced with local leaders in Paris, Berlin, Sao Paulo, and more. Soon, the focus turned to leveraging technology: I developed a local web system that was piloted in Atlanta, New York, and London, which would be a precursor to a site overhaul that would result in a fully functional intranet site. This site is currently being developed/tested.

Raised $5000 during Fall 2008 for our partner school in Uganda, Awere Secondary School and won the national Schools for Schools competition for our region as a result of successful fundraising efforts.Traveled to Uganda to visit partner schools and evaluate programs: I was honored as the region’s winning representative and received an all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. to lobby alongside the founders for the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act.• Increased membership three-fold over the course of one 3-month period to 100+ members.• Managed 5 organizational teams.• Planned events to promote awareness on campus.• Organized a university-wide letter-writing campaign to lobby for the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act, which was signed into law on May 24, 2010 by President Obama.
