As a teenager, I cracked open my school-issued laptop's chassis and thus began my technology journey. Beginning with building my own gaming PC, it wasn't until college that I truly began to develop my skills - even though I was an Arts & Humanities student, I worked at the IT department to help cover my education expenses. Mentored by the IT team, I learned imaging, networking, infrastructure and server management and dabbled with a Raspberry Pi. When I wasn't in the IT department or writing one of my undergraduate theses, I spent my time in the Pacific Northwest discovering good coffee and learning how to keep it a little weird. I also studied at the prestigious Peking University in Beijing, China, where I used my fluent Mandarin to find some of the best cuisine from Tibet to Taipei.Transitioning my career back to technology was the best decision I ever made - I was able to combine the business and client prospecting skillset I learned in the art world with my passion for cutting edge technology. I had inadvertently found my dream career and haven't looked back since. My day-to-day IT background makes it easy for me to see my clients' perspectives, and I enjoy having genuine technical exchanges. I wake up excited to do what I love everyday, providing my clients with an unsurpassed sales experience and poignant, relevant conversations about great technology. When I'm not at work, I enjoy volunteering at local animal shelters, I have two judgmental cats and a goofy bully cattle-dog mix - all rescues. If we ever connect on a video meeting, there's a good chance at least one of them will make an appearance! Any given Sunday you can find me watching the Miami Dolphins or attempting not to ruin my homemade brews of mead and blonde ales.
