Meri Crandall has been in the real estate industry for almost 40 years. She has a long list of accomplishments, including earning her broker’s license, being recognized as one of America’s Top 100 agents, serving as president of the Washington County Board of REALTORS®, and being inducted into the REALTORS® Political Action Committee Hall of Fame. Meri believes that everyone deserves to achieve the American dream of homeownership, and she fights to make that dream a reality for every one of her clients.Meri grew up on the waters of Lake Erie in Lorain, Ohio. She attended Ohio University where she received her Associate Degree in Education. She eventually moved to the West Coast to San Diego, where she attended several college classes and tapped into her creative side. This led to her working in marketing and graphic design. While working as the Activities Director for Lawrence Welk Timeshare Villages in Escondido, California, she met a broker who convinced her she was destined for real estate. The rest was history.Eventually leaving sunny California for the dry desert of Southern Utah, Meri served as the President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® from 2012 to 2013, and the President of the Washington County Board of REALTORS® from 2014 to 2015. During this time, she was introduced to the president of the Park City Board of REALTORS® and they became fast friends. She told Meri she should join Summit Sotheby’s International Realty because they were different from any other brokerage. Many things set them apart – they had more to offer clients, better exposure on the market, and defined luxury as an experience, not a price point.If Meri could describe herself in three words, it would be engaged, educated and confident. Meri is passionate about people; she loves getting to know every one of her clients on a deeper level and see their joy at the end of a successful transaction. Meri’s extensive professional experience has made her an exceptional negotiator. She has built numerous meaningful relationships with her clients by focusing on maintaining integrity throughout the purchasing/selling process and being incredibly communicative throughout it all. She is an expert in second homes, senior living and golf course properties, as well as rural and investment properties. Meri’s ideal client has a clear vision of what they want and understands the importance of her services as a real estate agent and professional.
