I am a Licensed Cosmetologist with 25+years of experience in a field I love so much. My kidney disease diagnosis in 2013 came as shock to me sending me to dialysis until receiving my gift of life kidney transplant from a decease donor at the end of 2016. I became involved with DPC-Dialysis Patient Citizen as a Patient Ambassador, and now I serve as both the President of DPC Education Center and as a DPC Board Member.. With my life experience, I am able to now serve my clients with the art and science of improving and beautifying the hair, skin, and nails; and also serve and educate my community about about Kidney Health and the benefits of physical training to improve their heath. Working with law and policy makers to impove the quality of life of our patients has allowed DPC to elevate the patients voice.
