CLFA's mission is to encourage Canadian students to obtain a preferred UK international, legal education that will open more doors in an increasingly competitive Canadian market. As a contracted consultant through MYP Consulting, I work with CLFA as a Senior Student Advisor and Events Coordinator. It is the primary purpose of the student advisor to help as many students as possible research and apply to CLFA’s partner universities. The advisor will work with potential applicants from their initial enquiry through the whole research and application process, until their final departure for the UK. While doing this, I also advise students on suitable partner universities and programs based on their academic and professional skills, experience and ambitions. These responsibilities require great communication, networking, and time management skills. I am also responsible for raising brand awareness of CLFA and its partner intuitions. To do this, I facilitate recruitment and networking events. These require event planning, marketing, and presentation skills which I have developed and honed as events coordinator. I often am in charge of writing the marketing descriptions for the events along with planning travel details for the team if required.

Assists in the recruitment of potential students to ATP partner universities at education fairs, university, college and school events. Delivered presentations about studying in the UK at above events, and ensured that the highest levels of customer service standards are met and, whenever possible, exceeded. Also assists with data entry of enquiries, maintenance of database records, and more.

The Contact Centre Operator is the first point of contact for stakeholders in the electoral process. As a representative of Elections BC, and the Voter Registration and Boundaries program area, they are accountable for providing high quality and responsive client services by telephone and through written correspondence.
