Led the Category Management team for Packt’s Video department. As a Category Manager (CM), I was responsible to ensure that Packt’s video catalog remains strong with Bestselling titles. I was responsible for driving up Packt's video revenue with powerful Product strategies and ensuring its smooth execution. The Category Manager also plays a very crucial role in the company’s business strategies with his analytical thinking and strong customer insights. As a CM, I owned the Product strategy in terms of planning, execution, and delivery.

An Associate Category Manager (ACM) is a core part of the Category Management team. An ACM helps locate significant areas of opportunity within the technology publishing marketplace and creates proposals and publishing strategies to meet the needs of customers and licensing partners. They are responsible for establishing Packt as a leading source of premium technical content within specific areas of the IT marketplace and for fulfilling the company’s goals for their category. They collectively set the strategic path of the company, manage its investment in new products, and actively contribute towards the development of the company’s broader product strategy. As part of the ACM responsibilities, I look into building a strong network with the tech community, liaising with authors, participating in tech conferences, product marketing, and more

A Content Development Editor (CDE) is a core part of the Content team. The role is ideal for creative individuals who have a keen interest in technology and language. CDEs use their technical and linguistic skills to help authors create engaging technical content that allows readers to easily learn about new technologies and develop new skills. Acquiring authors is also a part of the role when required.
