After the UPM HR Service Center reorganization I am responsible of a team up to 16 people. The team provides employment life-cycle processes and support to Finland, the United Kingdom, Estonia and Europe. My role as team leader as such has not changed and my additional roles as mentor for projects and internal expertise groups still remain.Additionally, I am the HR Service Center country contact towards our local Business HRs in Finland, the UK, Estonia and Europe. In this role I am responsible of ensuring proper implementation of possible changes in processes due to legislation or policy changes, handling all needed escalations or complaints and maintaining good collaboration between HR Service Center and our locations all around the world.During the organizational change I was heavily involved in designing our new organization and it's internal ways of working as well as supporting our Service Managers with analysis of Reward and Occupational Health and Safety processes and implementation of needed changes to ensure standardization and implementation of global processes.I am also coordinating the HR Service Center's role in our Payroll vendor change project that will cover more than 30 UPM countries all around the world. In this project HR Service Center plays a crucial role as data quality auditors and ensuring proper implementation of new payroll processes.

As a team leader I am responsible of a team up to 12 members. My responsibilities include resourcing the team and enabling the team members to work in the most efficient way. I support the team in their daily work, ensure that proper trainings and knowledge is in place and handle all needed escalations or problems that the team is not able to resolve alone.I am mentoring several projects and expertise groups, such as:• Finnish Summer recruitment project• Finnish Occupational Health & Safety team• Global HR Service Center Data Protection team• Internal trainer group responsible of providing training about UPM businesses as part of onboarding• Global HR Service Center Compensation & Benefits support (especially in annual Merit & Bonus processes)Additionally I am part of the UPM HR Service Center leadership team, where in collaboration with my colleagues and my manager we develop and lead our organization towards the best possible future.
