- Responsible for 5 divisions and 3 sites (600 Employees)- Implement and Improve on the IMS in all operational divisions- Coordinate all SHEQ Activities and Programs with 22 Safety Representatives in all divisions and sites- Control SHEQ training for the Company.- Conduct SHEQ Risk assessments for 5 Divisions- Update all SHEQ documents, forms and procedures on the IMS- Continuously focus all SHEQ projects towards achieving an improved annual (IRS) IRCA Rating System - Implementing and compliance to OSHAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for all Divisions and sites - Applying Root Cause Analysis to accidents and incident investigation- Conducting IRCA and OSHAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 Audits.- Active member of the Support Service Committee, - Associate and Registered member of the Institute of Safety ManagementAchievements: - WACO Manufacturing went from a zero star rating in 2010 to a four star IRCA Rating and an OHSAS 18001 Certification in the same audit in 2012.- Achieved ISO 9001 Certification.- At the beginning of 2010 the LTIF rate was 7.1 with 6, Lost Time Injuries on record. By May 2012 WACO recorded a Lost time injury of Zero and achieved a Million Disabling injuries free man hours. - I initiated a breast cancer awareness program which was successfully completed by all WACO Africa and Form Scaff head office staff, WACO International and select Form-Scaff branches.

-Control and drive quality issues through the (IMS) Integrated Management System.-Evaluate product Quality from refurbishment factory and implement corrective measures where necessary.-Create a positive SHEQ environment based upon fact finding and not fault finding.-Control all SHEQ training required by Head Office and Refurbishment facility.-Taking minutes of the (IMS) Integrated Management monthly meeting.-Implement and drive outcomes decided upon from the IMS Committee.-Control all equipment and facility inspections reports and take action of nonconformance’s raised.-Conduct self audits and compile corrective action plans.-Conduct SHEQ Risk assessment of 4 internal departments (102 employees) and drive the action plans resulting from the assessments on a monthly basis.-Control and continuously update the IMS documentation system.-Control and monitor all lifting equipment.-Continuously focus all SHEQ projects towards achieving an improved annual (IRS) IRCA Rating System.-Control and maintain the SHEQ Monitoring plan.-Compiling the Legal register for the Refurbishment Facility.-Implementing a OSHAS 18001:2007 Awareness program for Refurb-Applying Root Cause Analysis with accidents and incident investigation and in other areas within our Integrated Management System-Coordinate with National Risk Manager to keep facility in-line with the rest of the organization.-Conducted SHEQ Audits at Sales Distribution, Port Elizabeth and KZN Refurbishment Branch-Active member of the Support Service Committee.-Associate and Registered member of the Institute of Safety Management-Implementation of ISO 18001:, ISO 19001, and ISO 14000 at branch levelAchievements- Received ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 Certification- Received a 96 % compliance result in DQS re-certification Audit in 2012- Achieved a Million Disabling injuries free hours and a LTIF rate of zero.In comparison with Form-Scaff as a group their LTIF rate for the last 12 months is 0.73.

Duties:- Conduct SHEQ Risk assessment of 5 Internal Branches.- Monitor the Actions plans on a monthly basis.- Recognizing opportunities for Continuous improvement within the 5 branches and implement the Integrated Management System.- Responsible for identifying and implementing safe working procedures.- Conducting internal SHEQ Audits- Responsible to establish the Audit Scope, Audit Protocol, and final audit report writing, and to ensure that all recommendations made are relevant, achievable and support Continuous improvement, within our Integrated Management System for our ISO 9001:2000 Audit.- Applying Root Cause Analysis with accidents and incident investigation within our Integrated Management System.Achievements:Received a 5 Star Rating on 4 Branches within 9 months.Brought the 5th branch from a zero star to a 3 star within 9 months
