As senior researcher I seek to enhance the centre’s research impact. To that end I add structure to projects and help with making contact inside and outside of the university:• Providing structure to projects, including restoring focus and adjusting project plans• Mediating contact between colleagues and my own network - With coordinating role on labour and HR studies• Building a network within the university to enable interdisciplinary research activities• Exploring prospects for research projects in collaboration with entrepreneurs and educators• Provide expertise to external stakeholders for podcasts and expert consultations• Moderating panel discussionsAdditionally, I conduct various operational research activities with a focus on labour and HR studies:• Maintaining contact with (potential) clients• Writing position papers to probe potential of research ideas• Drawing up budgets and plans for projects, including for grant applications• Conducting research: - Designing analytic models to get a handle on abstract concepts - Designing checklists, questionnaires and protocols for interviews and surveys - Taking interviews with employer, employees, policy officers and other stakeholders - Programming and deploying questionnaires using LimeSurvey - Systematic analysis of literature and qualitative data using Atlas.ti - Statistical analysis using Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, and Huggingface), SPSS and Power Query• Account for research through reports, advisories, and presentations

As a researcher/consultant at Team Social Studies I contributed to the implementation of current social policy at governments, businesses, and NGOs, with a focus on education and labour market, healthcare and welfare, and diversity and inclusion. I take responsibility for projects from start to finish: • Maintaining contact with clients• Developing and budgeting project plans• Implementing projects: • Carrying out desk research • Interviewing stakeholders - citizens, employees, employers and policy makers • Presiding over focus groups and group sessions • Carrying out allround statistical research with Python, SPSS and Excel• Accounting for research with reports, policy advice and presentations

A research assistant in name, but a researcher in practice. In this position I was involved in every aspect of research: • Developing research plans for proposals• Writing research• Conducting research • Carrying desk research • Taking minutes of interviews and focus groups • Interviewing stakeholders • Carrying out statistical research using Python on microdata and survey dataIn doing so, I contributed to various social and socioeconomic policy issues.

As student mentor I was the first point of contact for 15-20 freshmen, who I also gave weekly tutoring lessons. In preparation of these lessons I occasionally also coordinated the student mentor team.
