During my internship I participated in both events the ISE 2022 and the DSS Europe 2022. During both events my work included taking care of the whole speaker management, the communication with severals internal and external parties, managing and maintaining online tools and applications, coordinating and preparing designs for marketing material, and taking care of project administration and management. Among other duties, tasks such as keeping track of approaching deadlines, working over the exhibitor manual, as well as coordinating and negotiating with an AV-Supplier, was part of my work as well. Especially working together with colleagues from finance, sales, marketing, and operations, gave me a firm grasp of understanding how different departments function and work and how the company operates.

I assisted the Head of Conferences with several aspects of the planning for conferences when working part-time as a working student at the ISE. I was primarily in charge of the speaker management, where I handled all communicational matters, provided relevant information, collected information for our social media platforms, and created promotional materials. One of my responsibilities was keeping the conference website and conference app updated with the latest information and managing the online tools that were being used. I used programmes like PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator to design speaker promotional material and the information for the screens on the show floor. It was also necessary to put up surveys and assist with their evaluation in order to identify areas that needed improvement.
