I am an active student on a Software Engineering skills bootcamp with HyperionDev, through this course I am learning to program with languages such as Java and Python via the use of Visual Studio Code. This is sharpening my skill-set to prepare me for the world of Software Engineering, following on from the completion of this course my goals are as follows.- Obtain an entry level Python/Java based Software Engineering role.- Build-up 3-5yrs of Industry experience within this role, achieving promotions into senior ranks.- Consider the idea of moving towards self-employment and IT contracting.I intend to hone my technical skills through an entry-level position, forming a stronger grasp of Python/Java based programming. Through this self-led journey I have understood the basics of computer programming and honed the following skills.- Learnt the fundamentals of variables, using data-sets such as lists, tuples, sets and dictionaries to store increasingly large pieces of information from various programs such as Task Managers and Chores Managers.- Understood how to define my own code blocks through the use of functions, progressing on to utilize classes to create larger programs with elegant and reusable code, such as a Student Register database for a school.- Learnt and implemented OOP to create objects of blueprints previously defined within the code, this has also made my code more elegant and user-friendly.
