Million Makers is a non-profit coalition co-founded by Bluenumber (US), Unseen (UK), the Mekong Club (HK) and Be Slavery Free (AU). Million Makers incentivizes workers to report directly on supply chains from the bottom-up. Million Makers uses Bluenumber to give workers and farmers digital identity and data rights. Workers own all the daya they create. They choose what to share, when and with whom. They get paid for data. Million Makers changes how workers use technology and digital identity. They create data to earn income now and to own data assets for the future.

The Direct Worker Voice Standard Process started in August 2022 to develop guidance on how to gather, validate and analyze Direct Worker Voice data for human rights due diligence (HRDD) to support claims about the existence or absence of forced labor or exploitation in supply chains or places of work. The standard defines what data from workers is necessary, sufficient and credible to evidence they are being treated fairly. Worker Voice Data is at the core of compliance to the mandatory HRDD requirement under EU Corporate Sustainability Directive, the UK or Australian Modern Slavery Acts.

Merlyn joined the design team, working for international clients such as Genesis Motors. Her work included assisting with the conception, creation and adjustment of Corporate Identity Guidelines, as well as designing Brand Material, Event Management, Rendering, Präsentation layouts, Social Media Analysis, Content Tonality Checks, Licensing, and Signage. Apart from design work, Merlyn was able to complete a number of marketing tasks during which she learned how to effectively communicate with clients, firm partners as well as manufacturers and other companies that provided services and products for BLACKSPACE.BLACKSPACE is an internationally active brand design agency, specialised in brand strategy, experience and motion. They strive to achieve design of the highest quality in the analog, digital and virtual world. Their work has resulted in critically acclaimed brand events, corporate designs, logos and more.

START INTO MEDIA is a daughter organisation of MEDIENBAYERN, located in Munich, Germany. The company's focus is to intrigue and inform students, young professionals and niche experts about future opportunities in the Bavarian media branch. Their most prominent communication tool is a website with collected information to degree courses, apprenticeship possibilities, events and more. Merlyn joined the Communications and Marketing Team in 2020, focusing on her strengths in content creation and graphic design. Her responsibilities began assisting in the process of creating a new brand, including the Corporate Design of START INTO MEDIA. She continued her roll creating and implementing content series for Social Media, managing and analysing the content on multiple platforms and the START INTO MEDIA website. Although her focus was digital design, she made the new experience with print design for the MEDIENTAGE Promotion of the START INTO MEDIA stand, directed at school students from 9th to 12th grade. Overall the experience at START INTO MEDIA allowed Merlyn to refine her design skills while giving her the opportunity to explore new talents.
