I am a passionate, thorough, and dedicated biomedical engineering graduate eager to continue developing and applying my skills in cellular research, CAD design, machining, and prototyping to improve the medical device and healthcare industries. I gained research experience in Dr. Kent Leach’s cellular and tissue engineering lab, working with mammalian cell culture and biomaterials to promote tissue regeneration and wound healing. Through my capstone project, a 48 hour medical device design competition, and personal use with my 3D printer I have developed skills in Solidworks, design for assembly and manufacturing, and rapid prototyping. With the experiences of working in many teams and living and studying in three countries, I am a strong communicator, I quickly recognize people's strengths and foster successful working relationships, and I am an innovative problem solver.
