Creating outstanding events and fundraising opportunities for the BEL Faculty Advancement team.

Responsible for all of SCA (Qld)'s events and marketing including html and hard copy publications; several educational seminars and networking events each month, the Annual Congress and involvement in the National Conference.

Half of my role involves the Business Development and Marketing of our Workshops, Skill Sets and Short Courses, including the event managment side of this; the other half involves working with the Marketing & Events Unit of Aged Care Queensland Incorporated on our major conferences and exhibitions.A not-for-profit organisation in an industry that I passionately believe in.

* End-to-end event management of 42 events across 6 regional locations per year. Responsible for registration management through to post-event reporting.* Sourcing and management of sponsors.* Sourcing and management of high-profile speakers.* Event marketing, including media liaison.* Management of Events Assistant on day to day basis.* Key liaison with 6 regional Committees, including management of Meetings, Minutes & Agendas.* Producing Board Reports on Regional Events Department and speaking to those reports in AICD Qld Council Meetings.* Membership services including liaison with top-level Directors and Executives, as well as small owner-operator businesses.

* Event Management: creating and managing a wide variety of events end-to-end including Scientific Meetings, Educational Events, Awards Nights, Gala Dinners, Incentive/Rewards Dinners, Sales Conferences, Medical Meetings, Social Functions.* Primary Account Manager for Abbott Australasia: responsible for developing and maintaining close & profitable relationship, including acquisition of new business and securing ongoing exclusive event management contract.* Financial reporting and budget management.

* Event management: copy writing, design of promotional materials, liaising with & securing guest speakers, sourcing venues, catering, AV, liaising with clients, themeing, html coding for website surveys for post-event data collection & analysis, monthly html newsletters to clients - html coding, design & copywriting.* Heavily involved in tendering process for acquisition of new business; solely responsible for tendering quotes and liaising with clients from an event design & management perspective.* Responsible for sourcing & securing sponsorship and integrating sponsors into events.* Procurement* HR including recruitment and staff liaison* Financial reporting including setting annual budget

* Coordinating internal and external events in conjunction with marketing department* Corporate travel arrangements inc. international travel* Management of Due Diligence verfication/documentation* Management of Trustee Seal Register, Board & Committee papers* Management of Corporate Insurance, Company Contracts & Lease Commitments* Part of Compliance Team to ensure Compliance Maps are current; managment of company licenses & statutory registrations.* Resource management, including: company motor vehicle fleet, corporate credit cards, mobile phones.* Maintenance of statutory records, Business Continuity Plan* Maintenance and purchase of marketing collateral* Liaison between Sunsuper and Citistreet Accounting Dept; Accounts Payable functions* Providing support to Board of Directors, CEO, COO as well as other internal customers.

* Coordinating exhibitor information, ensuring flow-through of information to other departments.* Preparing event sales quotations.* Reponsible for attracting new business from several exhibitions and conferences.* Up and cross selling to existing clients.* Working on site at large exhibitions as point of contact for exhibitors and exhibition organisers: troubleshooting, recording new orders.
