I founded Team Builders Plus & Take Flight Learning to inspire and enable people to become the highest version of themselves. My work with organizations has helped create cultures where people feel connected and transcend expectations. In guiding small and mid-sized businesses to half of the Fortune 100 companies, I have helped people at all levels from entry level staff to senior managers and CEOs. When Team Builders Plus was established in 1991, there were just a handful of team building companies in the United States. Through the creation of 20 unique team building programs, we laid the foundation for the flourishing industry we see today.By reimagining the DISC model, the Eagle, Parrot, Dove, and Owl styles that were introduced in my books, Taking Flight!, The Chameleon, and Personality Wins, are now used by hundreds of thousands of people. I owe a debt of gratitude to the members of the rapidly growing Take Flight Learning Certified Network of trainers around the world who touch even more people every day.As a keynote speaker, all of my passions combine into one. I get to teach individuals about themselves and the people in their lives, make people laugh as they learn, and even play a little guitar on a sing-along song about the bird styles. Life is good!I received my MBA from Drexel University and appreciate their recognizing me as the Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year. I am also honored to be recognized as CEO of the by AI magazine and HR Consultant of the Year by a consortium of seven chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management.
