My work at Valley Behavioral Health spanned 17 years--first as a Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist, wherein I provided community-based education and early-intervention programs throughout Summit County, Utah. After earning my MSW/LCSW in 1995, I provided assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic services for diverse populations in the semi-rural regions of Summit County. Clients included adults, children/adolescents, couples and families, and court-ordered substance abuse and domestic violence referrals. I gained management and program design experience as the Children's Team Leader and Assistant Manager, then served as Program Manager/Area Director from 2006-2008, leading a staff of approximately 25 clinicians, physicians and other specialists.

Europe

As part-time faculty for McKinsey Consulting, worked with members of McKinsey's Business Technology Operations in France, Spain and Germany. Focus of my work was to provide communication skill training and coaching to McKinsey consultants to enhance their customer relationships.
