I am a facilitator: my work in the world is to create and hold the space for vision, hope, possibility, inspiration, and change. I am particularly passionate about women's leadership and career development, and feel privileged to work with women leaders all over the world to increase their aspirations, capabilities, and breadth of influence. My vision is a world where we live and work with more balance; I believe gender-balanced and inclusive leadership as the norm in organizations will not only produce better business results, but will ultimately lead us to more thoughtful, intelligent and sustainable solutions for many of the bigger challenges we face in the world. I have a dual background in organizational development and behavioral health, and both careers have helped me understand more clearly the complexity of human behavior and change. I work primarily from a strengths-based approach, and encourage incremental changes in perspectives and practices for long-term results that stick. My goal is to simplify the change process with real-life approaches and easy-to-apply tools that are aligned with the way our brains function and learn. My work has taken me to many places around the world, working with individuals and companies from a wide variety of industries and cultures. Through my past and current associations with several consulting practices, my clients have included Unilever, the UN World Food Programme, FedEx, GE, National Cinemedia, UNS Energy, TSMC North America, Lee Enterprises, Myriad Genetics, Avalon Healthcare, Sklar-Wilton, vivid connections, Sheplers, The Smuin Ballet Company, and many individuals from a variety of other organizations.I hold professional certifications and/or a strong working knowledge in the following assessment instruments: HBDI (Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument), TTI Success Insights (DISC), EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Quotient Inventory), 16 PF (personality factors), and a variety of 360-degree feedback instruments.
