Started in the architecture business working part time after school as an office boy my senior year of high school. Dropped out of college to go to work to pay off medical bills. Never made it back. Worked my way up through the ranks to become a Project Manager over 16 years at Harvard and Jolly. Spent 12 years working off and on for Fleischman Garcia. Spent 46 years total in the profession, 30 of which was spent as a PM doing the same job as any other staff architect who works for someone else and doesn't use his own license. Haven't worked at all since retiring in the summer of 2020. Would consider doing some drafting or spec writing if a long distance work arrangement would be possible as I sold my home in the bay area and moved to the country near Chiefland.
