Merrin DeVan is a recent graduate from Radford University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications while concentrating in Public Relations and minoring in History. She is excited to apply her experience and skills gained to a career in the Public Relations industry. During her time at Radford University, she was appointed leadership positions in both of her organizations as well as volunteered for local non-profits and worked part-time as a server at a local restaurant. Merrin is actively seeking a full-time career following her summer internship at the Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is ready to utilize her Communications degree in order to promote a business and/or non-profit organization. Merrin has a strong interest in non-profit management, event planning, and community relations. She has a passion for preserving history and local culture. Her dream job will include working in a small local non-profit organization that shares this same passion.
