​​​​​​The Wisconsin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board is committed to mobilizing research and practices that prevent the occurrence of child maltreatment. The Prevention Board partners with organizations throughout the state, providing support for proven programming so that children across Wisconsin grow up in safe, stable and nurturing families and communities.​As Program Analyst, I am responsible for leading the oversight, administration, implementation of planning of the child abuse and neglect prevention grants program to reduce child abuse and neglect. Conducting performance monitoring of local community-based agencies. Serving as lead staff in assisting with the design and implementation of parent education and other prevention outcome measures.

Currently oversees successful administration of federal, state, and foundation funds for the organization. Experience in fostering community buy-in and coordinating sustainable partnerships with other community agencies. I facilitate the planning, execution, and closeout of projects as proposed and in compliance with funder regulations. I have experience working directly with The U.S. Department of Labor, SAMHSA, The American Heart Association, The Department of Education, and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Project Coordinator for the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant. Coordinated all program deliverables to six different schools located in Shiprock, Newcomb and Naschitti, New Mexico. Facilitated Professional Development opportunities for Health and Physical Education Staff. Participated in adaptations to the district's Wellness Policy to promote additional opportunities for physical activity including 5-10 minute 'brain breaks' in the regular classroom settings. Facilitated Cooking with Kids curriculum during the regular school day to provide students with hands-on experience in nutrition education and healthy food preparation in alignment with USDA Federal standards. Supervised 4-6 Field Fitness Instructors charged with integrating lifestyle fitness activities into the regular Physical Education lesson plans (inclusive of Yoga, Tai Chi, Martial Arts, Meditation, Zumba, and modern hip-hop cardiovascular exercises). Assisted Project Director in collecting and documenting in-kind contributions to the program. Involved in the successful planning and implementation of Capacity Builders' first ever National Conference on Cultural-Based Nutrition & Fitness for Native American Youth in 2015.
