• Preparing menu items for breakfast, lunch, & dinner according to health regulations & restaurant standards• Preparing ingredients by chopping vegetables/fruits, making sauces, marinating beef and chicken, and assembling salads for over 200 meals• Cooking a wide range of foods (beef-based, seafood, macaroni, various types of soup, salad, rice, etc.)• Preparing desserts served after the main course• Following the chef's orders completely and reporting back to him •Labeling, organizing, and re-stocking food & supply items, 2 times per week; reducing food waste•Collaborating with 4 prep team members to prepare meats and sauces ahead of rush hour; decreasing cooking and plating time• Developing and maintaining knowledge of around 30 menu items to answer inquiries for guests with dietary restrictions, increasing customer satisfaction • Maintaining constant communication with the team to deliver meals within 15 minutes of ordering; reducing customer wait time and serving errors • Ensuring the hygiene of place and equipment as well as confirming the quality of ingredients • Memorizing 50+ menu items and recipes
