Mert started his career at PwC where he worked as a member of the audit staff, participating in numerous audit assignments together with various due diligence, valuation and management consultancy projects as well as being in charge of the firm recruitment process. He later joined the Human Advisory Services within the same firm, where he acted as a senior consultant and project manager. In 2000, he joined a retail company as a Director where he was responsible for all support functions as well as business development. Leaving there after two years, Mert briefly worked as a freelance consultant, specialising in the fields of search and selection, mass recruitment, organisational design and business development, for financial services, service and FMCG industries before joining Oxygen and Stanton Chase. As Partner, managing the Finance Team, he was in charge of all financial services and finance function assignments.
