Hi there! Thank you for your curiosity about me and for visiting my LinkedIn profile.I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing Neuroinformed Counseling with a clinical emphasis on supporting women and children. The majority of my caseload consists of children working through challenges related to neurodivergence. I love what I do, and find it to be the utmost privilege! I spent some time teaching elementary school art in my local public school district before becoming a counselor. This experience helped me recognize the healing power of artistic expression and how much of my professional disposition as a counselor came into my role as a teacher! My practice integrates artistic expression and cutting-edge technology, including immersive reality and biofeedback to enhance treatment outcomes. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and am currently undergoing doctoral training in Counseling Education and Supervision at Denver Seminary. I have many research interests including tech-integration (yes, including AI!!), neurocounseling, the intrinsic cardiac nervous system, spiritual integration, and developing innovative curriculums to improve treatment outcomes for refugee communities.
