The results at the individual level include practical tools for getting unblocked with creativity, resulting in improved focus, energy and problem solving. At the group level, team members experience working together to visualize a solution, plus a material reminder of that process in the workplace in the form of an abstract wall hanging.I hold an MSc in Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary's University. As a former homeopath, I bring a lifetime of work in the healing arts together with my experience of reinventing myself following a health wake up call in 2015/2016.My first book One Loop at a Time, a story of rug hooking, healing and creativity, (December 2016) is the story of my reinvention through creativity. My second book One Loop at a Time, The Creativity Workbook (November 2017), shares tools I used for beginning the process of reinvention through journaling and sketching.I find helping others find their voice and be wild with purpose fills my soul. Colour, texture, joy and self-compassion define my work as a fibre artist, writer and facilitator in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. As an artist, I am best known for my use of the Chakra colours and my Wild Woman series. My recent ‘Ode to Lisa LaFlamme’ series, devoted to renegade women with grey hair and lots of attitude has been a source of delight to many. My mission is to inspire people to find joy and a renewed sense of purpose. Show less
