Meshari Alotaibi obtained his BSc degree (1st Class Honours) in Chemistry from Taif University, Taif, Saudi Arabia, in 2013. He then moved to The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK, where he received his MSc and PhD in Materials Chemistry and its Electrical Properties in 2023 under the supervision of Professor Anthony R. West. In 2020, he obtained a postgraduate certificate in Project Management from The University of Liverpool.His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of oxide-based functional materials, with special attention to the analysis of functional ceramic oxides, their composition, crystal structure, dopants, defects, and electrical properties. Meshari has published several papers in leading journals and presented at conferences in these areas.Meshari was appointed to the academic staff as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Taif University in 2023, following his tenure as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry from 2014 to 2022.
