F P &A Activities•Engaged in General Ledger reconciliation process.•Variance analysis and posting the necessary Journals to clear the issues.•Quarterly closing and reporting of Balance Sheet accounts.•Performing RTA (Return to accrual) on annual basis to ensure that accounting books are in accordance with the tax compliance and FAS-109 is completed for prior year tax accrual.•Respond to ad hoc requests providing requisite information during CAS audit and coordinating with different departments /functions•Quarterly preparing the ETR (Effective Tax Rate), this involves planning of estimated US Federal taxes and current ETR rate of the business and reporting the numbers to IRS.•Preparing the Federal tax return and necessary Schedule M-1, work-papers; at the time of US-Federal Tax return filing.
