As co-founder and principal of Actionable Insights, LLC I manage projects which help organizations discover and act on data-driven insights to achieve better outcomes.

Specialized in qualitative research, strategic planning and program evaluation design and implementation. I designed and implemented research, collected and analyzed data, wrote reports and presented them to a broad range of audiences. Projects included My Brother's Keeper: San Jose initiative (with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation), San Mateo County Veterans Needs Assessment, Community Health Assessments in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties for non-profit hospitals including Kaiser Permanente, San Mateo Get Healthy School Wellness study, evaluation, and School Readiness Assessments in multiple Bay Area Counties. Strong MS Excel SPSS and Tableau experience.

Designed and implemented new community education program for seniors and caregivers.

I served in executive positions of secretary, VP of Communications and President during my three terms on the board of directors. While there I improved the infrastructure of the organization, brought on several new directors and raised significant funds.

Manageed evaluation of community investment grants, including survey design, data collection, and data analysis. Aggregated and analyzed data from over 60 grantee datasets and developed reports to internal staff, county supervisors and commissioners, and First 5 California Commission. Designed and implemented new central referral system procedures, database and forms.

Managed COA’s MIS and operations for the entrepreneurial CareAccess program, a statewide data warehouse and ASP portal for use by California Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and California Department on Aging (CDA).
