My life has had it's ups and downs. What gets sent out, I use a "pen-name" to put my life experiences on paper. Being a writer is something allows me to give others an imaginative way to see what life can bring to the table. It also helps me as a healing process of the sad and fierce life experiences I've been through (this far). Since turning 40, I must say I'm proud to say the offer to become a published writer is my greatest achievement. In addition to learning to walk away from the past and use it to move forward in my future; no matter how difficult it was or who interfered in the parts of my life where they had no business. It will go into a wonderful book. I wish for them to learn there are some things that you will inherit, there are other things you step into, but when you put your nose where it doesn't belong; life will turn around and even the score and you are the one living with that choice. It's best to handle your own affairs than worrying about relationships that you have no foot to stand on. Life will come back & bite in the ars. Learn how to handle your business because karma is a wonderful thing, the angels came to watch over the Messengers. Not a part of your life, just a pretty picture. My goal is to someday come out from the "pen-name" closet and own the life I've had, perhaps even make some money at this depth of soul profession.

I've helped managers do the "busy work" they don't have time to do. Worked as a manager at UPS. Created logos for companies. Created commercials for different companies. For 2-years I did Medicaid audits for nursing homes. I've worked telemarketing for all sorts of different companies; everything from the Yellow Pages to "Friends & Family." My early years were food related; sandwiches, pizza and also bussing tables (back when people even tipped the buss person). Now I help people when I can write for non-profit events and causes. I find this much more rewarding, believe it or not, it's not always about the paycheck. It's about loving others and helping others.

Started my career at UPS working in Redding after 5 years moved to Sacramento and continued my employment. While at UPS; I supervised drivers, office personnel and co-managed with operations. My skills using time-management were definitely an asset!! Over the years at UPS, I'm proud to say I learned how to work very well with the Union. As well as being in management, working open and honestly with it's representatives. The employees who I supervised had to make time calculated decisions which I oversaw and helped to manage. Being and Operations Management Supervisor, honed in my skills to work well with many people. Both the employees and the customers benefited from my time there. Overseeing the drivers, making sure they got to drop and meet locations. Going to the airport to oversee and manage package unloading directly from the plain to the delivery vehicles.It was an extremely faces paced environment which I thrived in. Even in smaller towns like Redding, California; both business and residential customers expect their deliveries on-time. Making skilled decision, in that fast-paced environment was somewhere I worked both well not being micro-managed. At the end of the day, I was the person to close up at UPS. I ensured the last driver made it in, all packages of the day were accounted for. At nights end, I uploaded over 80-drivers package details, drive time, freight drivers hours and mileage. One of the finest employers, allowing both management and union to work together to make billions of management decisions that spread through the vines of the company that helped the driver get the package to the door, everyday.

After my initial training; my trainer asked me to stay on in the training department since I had picked up on the materials so quickly. For 3-months I assisted in training new employees how the telecommunications industry works. Once the basics were established, I continued to train in the best possible ways to service our customers. When I left the training department, I used not only what I had learned, practiced and trained to make the customer satisfied. I also thought outside the box "how would I want to be treated if I had a concern." Many calls were customer's who didn't understand the billing system. I would take the time to explain this to them. If I found there was a plan that could save them money; I would go into detail about how it would benefit them in the future.When I transferred to Colorado, my Supervisor was impressed with my vast knowledge of what our company had to offer. She asked me to assist her in listening to other employees to offer additional training to ensure the customer remained satisfied. I found this to be educational, challenging and another way to learn different techniques to please the customer.
