My experience in management and community pharmacy is where I developed my aptitude for business strategy, strong customer service skills, medical and pharmaceutical knowledge, and a broad administration skillset. I am highly motivated and resourceful, an advocate for best practice, with a proven ability to exceed performance indicators, multitask priorities, provide key support to colleagues and patients, and meet deadlines. I have been employed in pharmacy as a dispensary technician since 2016, with experience in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, having worked seamlessly in multiple capacities, with diverse demographics, teams, software, and legislative requirements. In 2023 I undertook the Certificate III in Pathology Collection as an elective, and was the sole student selected to complete my placement with Pathology Queensland, Gold Coast University Hospital. I am approaching the end of studying biomedical science at Griffith University Gold Coast, with the intent to continue on to postgraduate study in the field of biochemistry, before applying to medicine. At the intersection of 8 years in pharmacy, hours spent in labs practicing several disciplines, the conclusion of biomedical science; nurturing a persevering passion for biochemistry, I’m seeking an opportunity to plunge into an environment that will facilitate my professional development, advocate applied learning, and enable me to build confidence in laboratory techniques and field research skills in contribution to a research team.
