With over 15 years of work experience in the field of distance education, I am a passionate and dedicated e-learning expert who strives to create engaging and effective online learning experiences for diverse learners. As the Vice Director of Anadolu University, one of the largest and most prestigious open and distance education institutions in the world, I lead the development and administration of various learning management systems, media servers, and video conferencing tools that support the delivery of high-quality online courses and programs. I am motivated by the mission and vision of Anadolu University, which aims to provide equal and accessible educational opportunities for all, and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and culture in Turkey and beyond. I am also committed to bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a multicultural background and a global outlook, having studied and worked in different countries and languages.In my current role as the Vice Director of Anadolu University, I oversee the installation, integration, and maintenance of various e-learning platforms and tools, such as Canvas, Kaltura, BigBlueButton, Grafana, Moodle, Sakai, and Blackboard Learn. I am also responsible for the coordination and management of the Turkish localization team for Instructure Canvas, a volunteer project that aims to make Canvas more accessible and user-friendly for Turkish speakers. Additionally, I leverage my skills and expertise in e-learning development, design, and evaluation to support the creation and improvement of online courses and programs, as well as to provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on effective online teaching and learning practices. I am proud of the impact and value that I have contributed to Anadolu University and the wider e-learning community through my work and achievements.
