Served as staff liaison for the Selma Historic Development Commission (SHDC), overseeing the enforcement of the Selma Historic Ordinance and architectural guidelines in four locally designated historic districts. Managed the Certified Local Government (CLG) program for the city, preparing annual and quarterly reports, maintaining SHDC meeting records, and participating in annual Alabama Historical Commission training. Wrote and managed historic preservation, beautification, and community development grants for the city. Awarded six grants totaling $76,880 in funding.
