I contribute to strategic planning and curriculum mapping and design, delivering insight and information to the senior leadership team which directly influences teaching provision.I effectively plan my workload, working within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. I am responsible for both operational (teaching) and strategic (Department Head) aspects of the role, transitioning seamlessly between the two.I inspire confidence in students through mentoring, coaching and skills development, as well as providing pastoral support. On a regular basis, I provide feedback, reports and information to parents and carers. I also regularly attend open events, community sessions, and liaise with Ofsted, building professional relationships with internal and external audiences. I designed presentation content for conferences and pitches, tailoring the approach and information towards specific audiences. I collated and analysed information throughout, which was used to influence decisions and define the strategic plan.I identified and developed partnerships with various agencies to deliver a programme of activities based around the project, whilst actively engaging with students and encouraging them to contribute to the project. During the Covid pandemic, I adapted the programme to ensure that project success was unaffected.
