I have a 5+ year history of creating CSR related programs and excelling at corporate communications for domestic and international private and public entities. My experience spans the United Nations, NYC non-profits (building the first non-union workforce development program in NYC) and a company that provides communications consulting for the construction industry. Finally, I have held communications positions with the Greek Political Office of the Minister of Homeland Securities and The Prime Minister of Greece.At the United Nations, I created a suite of United Nations CSR communication materials including core messages, news releases for the UN Intranet, brochures, media kits, website and social content. I was also a key member of the team that developed and implemented the UN campaign to reintroduce the Department of Management and its Offices to staff across the "world.” I was honored to coordinate more than 300 events featuring high-profile speakers such as then Presidential Candidate Hillary R. Clinton, NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio, Michael Bloomberg, and others.I wrote speeches for my company’s CEO and published content in the company newspaper.As the Corporate Communications Coordinator, I created and led a soccer league with 300+ employees from 12 client companies and developed Queens Chamber of Commerce events for local businesses for 80 people. I built and managed the first non-union building restoration skills-focused workforce development program in NYC, graduating 100 certified NYC construction workers. I scaled this program by focusing on an outreach strategy to NYC nonprofits, government agencies, elected officials, etc. for recruitment and community engagement activity. I created all content with regards to the new programs, letters to elected officials, grant requests and streamlined social media outreach, including calendar creation through LinkedIn and Facebook with all events, program developments, etc.
