This was an exciting and satisfying experience, which provided the opportunity to not only develop a new business line across India from the ground up, but also take on a parallel role in the South Region to turn around Geosynthetics business operations that were impacted by a crisis that could be characterised as disastrousDeveloped strategic plans and order delivery frameworks to establish the roads sector, involving business development for in-house and partner products (principals based in UK and Germany), positioning and pricing strategy planning, and process improvement initiatives; in 7 years, the sector grew to contribute more than half of the total annual revenue from the Geosynthetics division Managed sales & marketing, liaised with clients, handled pre-qualification efforts, and enabled excellence in operations in coordination with senior management and a cross-functional team of 16 membersRevitalized the Geosynthetics business by recruiting new talent to rebuild the team and restoring perception in the market as well as trust with customers; won new clients and orders, generated repeat business and brought back several former customers
