I have been working in the accounting field for 25 years. I have worked for companies and with individual clients. My long-standing relationships with my clients are a tribute to my honesty, ethics and loyalty. I am organized, swift, and effective. I have done everything from creating a simple filing system to helping clients get out of debt and restore their credit scores.My specialty has been solving problems. I have been able to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities. Once they were identified I have been able to develop and implement effective solutions. When problems were outside the scope of my education or experience, I have been successful in researching how to solve them or facilitating the help of people who could. When clients hire me it is generally because they are buried under a financial mess. I have successfully helped clients, who were in debt, behind in their taxes, accounts payable, and state filings. I accomplished this through repairing the past damage and implementing efficient systems that were easy for them to successfully manage. For example, I had a client come to me who was paying very high interest rates and numerous late fees every month. I contacted all of the companies who had placed bad marks against him with the credit borough and negotiated a settlement price and set up an automated payment plan to put my client back in good standing. I also went through all of his bills and set up automatic payments to eliminated the reoccurring late fees. Once his credit score was restored I was able to negotiate with the bank and credit card companies to give him a better interest rate on his loans. In the end, the money that I saved him was more than my fees.
