In my role as a Product Marketing Manager, I was responsible for bringing products (accessories for our smartphones) to market with a Go-To-Market plan and a marketing toolkit. To create the marketing toolkit, I worked with advertising agencies to produce promotional videos and other digital material, as well as with a creative team within the organization. As a Product Marketing Manager, I was responsible for product communication on the web, sell-in material, product pictures, videos, and packaging. In this role, I also worked with event management and planning, consumer insights, competitor analysis, etc. I was also responsible for following up on marketing activation in dedicated markets. As an Application Planner, I looked outward to plan inward by actively following the evolution in the mobile market space, gathering operator needs and requirements, as well as examining consumer research. The application planning work involved concept development and full responsibility for the application until the launch of the target phone(s).In this position, I was responsible for the strategy and the applications that Sony Ericsson offered within Location-Based Services (LBS). LBS included navigation applications and Google Maps™. As the Global Application Planner for LBS, I was also responsible for location-based services in relation to third parties, portfolio management, product management, etc. This role required analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication skills, as well as knowledge in portfolio strategy, business models, and project management.

As a System Engineer, I installed Appium products, the Telecom Application Server, and the Voice Server platform. The customers were global operators, and after the installations, I also provided training on the products. The products were Java-based and ran in a Unix environment

Master thesis within telecom

During my studies at Mid Sweden University I worked as a consultant in a project regarding pocket PCs. The creation of an application in Personal Java included functionality as DB connections and encryption.
