Responsible for scheduling, advising, and marketing Paralegal Studies and Real Estate programs at Cincinnati State. I have had experience with these duties when I was the program chair for the Business Computer Science department and Web Design department.

Being innovative is important to serving many different generation of students. In this photo I am conducting an online tutoring session with a student. This allows students to receive immediate assistance without having to travel to campus.

Instruct end-user applications as well as some web development courses. Currently an academic advisor and professor in Information Management. Duties include design and development of courses and programs, both f2f and online, promote retention and completion rates. I teach Emerging Technologies, Excel, Word, Medical Administrative Procedures. Actively involved in incorporating learning management systems into courses and serve as the system administrator for SAM and Connect. Promote student development and growth through year around advising. Implemented the MOS certification test at Cincinnati State and currently seeking to incorporate the test as part of our Microsoft Office courses. I have past experience in web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, etc.Beyond the classroom I have obtained articulations with local schools and career centers. This has opened the doors for students to continue into higher education at the college level earning advanced credit hours based on their coursework at a local school/career center. Constantly building and creating bridges is another passion I have to help those move forward in their educational careers. I also manage multiple social media sites for my department and division. Current panel lead for the Administrative and Medical Administrative curriculum for the Ohio Department of Education.Former program chair for the Business Computer Science and Web Design departments. Played a major role in the design and development of the Multimedia Department as well as the former Information Technologies division, currently CIT. Past responsibilities included industry trainer, co-op coordinator, Program Chair for the Business Computer Science (BTD until merged in IT 2000). Played a significant role in the transition of BCS department to the IT division in 1999-2000. Designed/Developed/Delivered the web design program and was program chair until 2005.

Business Education instructor. Founder of FBLA organization, taught the first team teaching course in Business Communication, worked with grades 3-5 with the Buddy System/Computer courses. Implemented computer courses for grades 7-12.

Designed/delivered training on a variety of business and computer software topics for companies such as Choice Care, United States Postal Service, Ford Motor Company, Cincinnati Bell, etc.
