-Summer Vista internship through Americorps working at Cache Makers located in Logan, UT. -Ran summer workshops to kids ranging from 2nd to 8th grade to introduce them, interest them, and have a hands on experience with STEM related projects. -Created 3 day LatinX Space Camp where we taught kids aerodynamics, building practices, and team building exercises. Partnered with USU SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) club to help get volunteers to give kids help in every aspect of the workshop.

Region 3

-Manage all SHPE chapters in Region 3 which consists of 10 states to grow member participation in regional events, prepare future leaders to continue the progression of chapters, and increase communication between individual chapters and the regional team. The overall goal is the lead the Region 3 team to have members improve in educational, professional, and personal development.

-Oversee and manage all Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers chapters within Utah. I was able to build and maintain relationships and connections by creating and coordinate events and activities with companies like Goldman Sachs and groups like Latinos in Action.

-Create a web utility service for clients in a group of 3 interns. -The tool was built to pull data, convert it, and pass it onto a GUI to determine and adjust tax rates.

-Working with 5 other inters across three different teams for ten weeks to create a tool that has a back-end to pull, parse, and convert data from two different systems and push it to a user interface that graphically tracked and displayed business flows. -The user interface had features like zoom and pan, filter by status, search bar, dynamic timeline, as well as show upstream and downstream dependencies for each job.

-Part of my responsibilities were to organize Engineering Expo to gather industry professionals and organization leaders in the Utah area and allow students from Region 3 to meet and learn from them. -I built and designed Regional Leadership Development Conference website for Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (http://shpe.org/rldc3)

-Run a team of 5 to increase membership from 15 members to 80 members, raise $1,500 dollars in funds, and create awareness in the community about our organization. Used the funds to go to university campuses to help students pursue higher education.
