Expanded Learning Program Coordinator
CurrentSupport the development, alteration, implementation and evaluation of the K-8 Expanded Learning programs (ACE Napa Valley & COOL School Napa Valley sites) serving 1500 students in Napa, CA.Support and coach Expanded Learning Site Coordinators and line staff to ensure the program is operating successfully at each site.Lead the planning, training, and implementation of the ELOP Intersession programming (Summer and Winter sessions) including managing the multiple programs on-site during program hours. Lead recruitment and on-boarding of Napa Expanded Learning team members.Notable Projects:Napa Valley Expanded Learning E-Sports League*Lead the development and planning of the Napa Expanded Learning E-Sports League in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of Napa Valley ,founded in 2023. *Held 4 E-Sports tournaments with over 500 participating students in the inaugural season. Junior Classroom Leader Program*Developed and founded the Junior Classroom program, which empowers students through leadership development, project-based learning and job training.*The Junior Classroom Leader program enables students to participate in the implementation of the after school program as “junior staff” and utilizes students as assets in the continuous quality improvement process.
