Among other responsibilities, Laurent managed and maintained regulatory and clinical regulatory files for all trials (Phases I to III), and coordinated, drafted and/or submitted routine submissions to regulatory authorities. He collaborated with safety department, reviewing incoming Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports for regulatory action on an ongoing basis for all clinical trials, and conferring with safety department on expectedness and reportability.

In this position, Laurent designed, coordinated and/or implemented regulatory programs, timelines and strategies for multiple products, including international commercial products and new chemical entities. He successfully lead cross-functional teams of employees, consultants and scientific laboratories to produce cutting-edge science and achieve registration. Laurent routinely managed scientific study lifecycles from placement at contract laboratories to report review, approval and submission and post-submission support. Studies included laboratory and field-based efforts, as well as chemistry, acute and chronic toxicology and modeling studies. As the Senior ecotoxicologist for the company, Laurent further managed ecotoxicology programs for the company's products, using NAFTA and OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development) guidelines.
