Some of the tasks include: • Development of financial hedging mechanisms to reduce merchant risk in power generation investment projects.• Development of price evolution models in the wholesale electricity market considering demand trends, power technology pricing in a merit-order wholesale market.• Review and validation of economic-financial models for new wind and solar (photovoltaic and solar thermal) power generation projects.• Advisory for the calculation of electricity system costs and their recovery through the definition of tariffs for all activities in the sector (generation, transmission, distribution, retail, system operation and market operation).• Development of cost-benefit analysis in capital-intensive infrastructure and energy projects within a framework of energy transition.
