Job description: • Analysing departmental documents for appropriate distribution and filing.• Responding to customer requests via telephone and email.• Performing initial client assessment and analysis to begin research process.• Represent world's leading P&I Club, Ship Owners, Charterers and other business entities.• Dealing with various government and non-government authorities such as port authority, customs authority, ministry of food, BCIC, BADC, ministry of shipping etc.• Continuous email and telecommunication with various national and international authorities.• Advising and assisting vessel's Master to reduce risk & cope up with emergency situation.• Settlement of claims on behalf of ship owners, charterers and their P&I underwriters.• Ensure processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented and maintained.• Reporting to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System and providing recommendation for improvement.• Communicate with Solicitors where Law Suits have been filed in Court including guiding the Solicitors as to the course of action. • Communicate with the Club in regard to provision of Letters of Guarantee in situations where vessel is detained pending receipt of LOG.
