Appstellation was a startup founded in Sofizar in February 2012. I was part of the company from its inception. It was a different kind of experience for me to work in startup and struggle for its growth. I served as a Team Lead and was responsible for designing the core architectures of various games. Angry Temple Gorilla: Angry Temple Gorilla is a fun arcade game featuring a Gorilla character who throws coconuts to hit birds and animals passing under a bridge, while jumping over the bridge to avoid poisonous lizards. This game currently achieves 20K downloads per day and has been listed as a Featured app. Dead Run Brave: This is an exciting running game where the player must run as far as possible to escape a chasing dinosaur, while avoiding hurdles and pits along the way. Rolling Ball (Unity 3D): I worked as a Unity 3D Technology Evangelist, Game Architect, and Team Lead for this game. It’s an endless 3D running/rolling game similar to Temple Run.

 At Geniteam (geniteam.com), I worked as an Android App Developer (Team Lead) for nearly two years, contributing to both Android games (Geniteam products) and business apps.Games: Angry Monkey Deluxe & Angry Monkey (Free): A simple and fun game with the objective: "Save the Banana from the super moves of the skilled ANGRY MONKEY."Awards & Recognition:Won the P@SHA ICT Awards 2011 in the Digital Media and Entertainment category.Nominated at APICTA 2011 in Thailand (Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards), where I represented the product alongside the Geniteam Products Head. This was one of the few Pakistani products shortlisted for APICTA 2011. Mafia Empires: A social isometric game similar to Crime City or CityVille on Facebook. The team consisted of around 10 members. I primarily focused on the architectural and mathematical aspects. We developed a complete wrapper on “AndEngine” to support isometric gameplay. Whack-a-Rabbit: A game where players tap and whack the rabbits that pop out of a hat, while avoiding buzzers, bombs, knives, etc. Electric Shock: A fast-paced puzzle game designed for quick thinkers. The goal is to light up a bulb using a list of electrical components while preventing the shelf from overflowing. Track My Train: Players wear a train conductor cap and solve puzzles by playing with tracks to guide the train out of crises. This game was once ranked 13th on Google Play in the “Brain & Puzzle” category.Business Apps: Watermelon Express: Test preparation apps with social features and platform portability for GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc. The platform was covered by The New York Times and TechCrunch. ICarpool: 1st Place Winner in the ITS Congestion Challenge. The app facilitates pickup and drop-off of passengers in a van, takes vehicle odometer readings, and more. Indiana State Fair: A GIS-based app offering searchable maps, a news feed, and an event calendar. Users can also rate and review their favorite rides and exhibits.

I have experience of about 2 months of internee (worked on Java and Apex) as a software developer in Softech Systems Pvt Ltd ( http://www.softech.com.pk/ ) start from 13th July 09.
