As an Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity Engineering at Florida Polytechnic University, I am dedicated to advancing research and education in cybersecurity. My role involves developing innovative coursework, leading research projects in hardware security and cyber-physical systems, and mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. I am committed to fostering collaborations with industry and academia to enhance the field's knowledge base and address critical security challenges.

Maintain frequent contact with supervisor and fulfill tasks briefed by supervisor. Compile and analyze research using modern/traditional data collection methods. Convert findings into tables, graphs, presentations, and written reports. Facilitate instruction/tutoring of relevant subjects/lessons/courses. Prepare seminar and conference rooms for presentations, including classes for lectures. •Rowhammer Project: Designed an algorithm to non-invasively reverse engineer the order of rows on the DRAM chip. Invented an efficient test framework, called RHAT, to address Rowhammer security issues in DRAM modules. •Neural Network Reverse Engineering: Disclosed the relational CPU activity with the neural network running on the computer for the first time. Reverse-engineered neural networks using hardware performance counters in CPU.•Malware Anomaly Detection: Built an enormous database of malware from different security companies. Measured CPU activity while running each malware in an LXC container on a Linux system.•Served as Teaching Assistant for “Computer Architecture,” ECE Dept, Spring 2020

Collaborated on future integrated air and missile defense military research project. Mitigated side-channel attacks on cryptosystems and conducted investigations to identify process improvements for integration pieces of integrated air and missile defense. Harnessed insights to improve situational awareness, command, control, and decision-making. Furthered expertise in performing security and reliability testing on modern memories such as FRAM.

Developed and facilitated tutorials/lessons in ‘Micro Electronic 1’, ‘Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering, Sensors, Circuits and Systems, and ‘Electrical and Computer Engineering Design.’ Provided feedback related to student performance to designated lecturer/professor. Monitored progress and assist students in accomplishing established learning objectives. •Advanced to a position of increasing scope and responsibility from Research Assistant (01/2016-08/2016) to Teaching Assistant.•Received Certificate at leadership workshop.

Delivered and conducted fundamental research to support faculty in hardware security under direct supervision by senior faculty members. Performed tasks related to specific function/program assigned and developed work plans in accordance with research objectives. Contributed to data collection and/or conducted independent research. Assisted with the development/evaluation of instructional materials and/or curricula, including administrative, technical, or editorial duties connected to research activities.•Implemented a two-share threshold implementation technique on the PRESENT cipher against first-order side-channel attacks.

Carried out research according to protocols laid out by primary researchers. Conducted statistical analyses of data sets, gathered information by reviewing print/online resources and collected/logged data. Prepared graphs/spreadsheets to illustrate results and presentations and posters to aid researchers. Checked facts, proofread, and edited research documents to ensure accuracy.•Designed a new multiplier circuit using a finite field with high-throughput and low-complexity suitable for sensitive applications.
