Application owner of Business Objects and Qlikview platforms for GE Capital Americas servicing 8,000 users across nine lines of business. Led a team of 10+ offshore contractors and collaborated with stakeholders, managers, and executive leadership to define and deliver new capabilities. Worked with DBAs and Data Architects to coordinate the integration of data to data sources and defined processes and controls to satisfy governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements.  Managed a 2-year project to deploy Business Objects encompassing four installations of the product supporting nine lines of business across the company. The deployment reduced server footprint from 40+ servers in several locations to 10 servers in a single site; improved resiliency for business continuity; and achieved 99.99% availability. Designed and implemented a clustered HW platform with scalability up to 10,000 users, reducing costs by $129K annually. Spearheaded the committee to review and mitigate issues identified through the annual Employee Satisfaction Survey, improving seven areas that had been rated “Poor” to “Moderate” or “Good” the following year.
