Senior Technical Account Manager
▪︎ Provide product knowledge and proven skills to help Fortune 100 & 500 enterprise companies streamline deployment and improve operations of their VMware platform▪︎ Maintain a 10+ year customer engagement with one of the top VMware accounts, building a relationship that has helped to ensure my customer and VMware are successful in their initiatives by acting as a trusted advisor▪︎ Co-develop with customer, a business plan to ensure they are successful implementing their purchased VMware Technologies from adoption all the way to a fully functioning virtualized datacenter▪︎ Collaborate with my customer and their hardware vendor to size physical hardware for tens of thousands of virtual machines and coordinate migration plans from old hardware to new▪︎ Partner with my customer and their cloud vendors to ensure cloud initiatives are successful and properly sized▪︎ Deliver millions of dollars of savings to my customer by identifying thousands of unused licenses and by driving implementation of specific environment consolidation & cleanup recommendations▪︎ Provide white glove escalation support, coordinating between customer technical team & VPs and multiple VMware support/engineering teams to determine root cause and remediation▪︎ Vigorously pushed siloed IT teams to work together and formulate plans to ensure successful customer project implementations▪︎ Served as team lead for 13 people on enterprise and global account teams to ensure successful engagement delivery, providing coaching and escalation support to peers while facilitating renewals and business development▪︎ Interviewed and helped provide feedback on possible new hire candidates from a technical perspective, interviewing over 100 people and helping to hire ~20 TAMs, including all the TAMs in my region hired after me▪︎ Utilized Salesforce and Gainsight for all things related to Customer Success Management
