A lifelong educator over 30 years of experience in educational technology, I am passionate about clarifying and solving EdTech challenges that are poorly defined, poorly understood, or simply unsolved. I have worked as an educator, an educational EdTech administrator, an EdTech supplier, and a consultant to people serving in all of these roles. Over the past two decades, I have become widely known for my analysis and pragmatic advocacy at e-Literate, the blog that has driven my career and spawned several ventures, including the Empirical Educator Project and Argos Education.As a consultant, facilitator, speaker, and writer, I leverage my expertise in higher education, user experience, learning management systems, corporate training, and knowledge management to catalyze group action and collaboration among educators, researchers, technologists, and administrators. I have facilitated workshops, conferences, and consulting engagements that have resulted in innovative and impactful EdTech solutions, such as the Open Simon Initiative, Torus, and Argos. I am also a lifelong educator and a product manager with a history and love for K12.
