Just sayin.)Anyway…Right now I'm working on a 24 building, 385 unit multi-family project in Northglenn, Colorado.What I've learned from a lot of past mistakes about what’s important to me in my life and career:✨Collaboration with people - It’s more effective, and just way more fun that way✨Laughing - Not being an angry jerk that no one wants to be around✨Continually learning new things - All the 'strengths' and 'personality' tests say so, at least✨Treasuring friends and family - Life really IS too damn shortProfessionally speaking, what do I bring to the job site 'table'?- Passion for the Trades- Respect for People- Sense of urgency, and old school work ethic- Love of my craft, the history and science of building - Proficiency with construction software and technology - Obsession with Lean as the future of construction management- Patience and willingness - eagerness, even - to help new people thrive in our industryWho am I as a person?🚵‍♂️ Married for 30+ years to the same amazing cute biker chic who thought touring Kenya with me on mountain bikes in the eighties was a great idea - why she still puts up with me is an utter mystery to everyone, myself especially.🐶 No kids, but always a house full of dogs and cats. 🧗‍♂️ Has-been rock climber, tele-skier and mountain biker. 🎸 Sea kayaker, scuba diver, and bluegrass guitar player. 🐿 The slightly cantankerous old dude who feeds squirrels and grows heirloom tomatoes.
